From placing your finger tip on the camera lens, we are able to measure PPGs by detecting color changes in the fingertip with each heartbeat.
From the PPG data, we are able to detect vascular damage caused by diabetes and provide an IDT Score.
We compared the IDT results with the most common type 2 diabetes and prediabetes test, the Fasting Plasma Glucose (FPG) test.
After comparison, the IDT test performed better, with an AUC (area under the curve) of 0.89, where the FPG scored a 0.86.
0.8 to 0.9 is considered excellent, and more than 0.9 is considered outstanding.
