13 Tips To Be More Active

  1. Whenever you can, walk instead of driving.
  2. Take the stairs instead of the escalator or elevator.
  3. Go for a half-hour walk instead of watching TV.
  4. Get off the bus a stop early and walk.
  5. Go up hills instead of around them.
  6. Do yard work (and get your children to rake, weed, or plant!).
  7. Work around the house.
  8. Garden or make home repairs
  9. Wash the car by hand.
  10. Find a buddy and join an exercise group.
  11. Cut back on sitting time by turning off the TV or computer.
  12. If you have to watch TV, do sit-ups. Have a sit-up competition with a buddy
  13. Follow an Argus Workout Plan.
