The World Health Organization and the U.S. Surgeon General agree that better health is a result of more physical activity. Studies have shown that moderate activity for 30 minutes on most days of the week leads to:

  1. Longer lifespan
  2. Stronger heart
  3. Lower blood pressure
  4. Less risk for depression, stroke, type-2 diabetes, colon and breast cancer

The Center for Disease Control states that moderate-intensity physical activity should raise a person’s target heart rate to 50-70% of his or her maximum heart rate (i.e. brisk walking, housework, and bike commuting).

Start making active changes to your lifestyle by using Argus to monitor your activities and keep track of whether or not you are 30 minutes of activity each day. You'll be achieving a happier, healthier life in no time.
